Gifts

Daisy-Winifred finds herself in receipt of many gifts and believes that a gift becomes even more of a gift when it is shared.
One of these gifts is the cottage she lives in and shares with her companion dog and two cats.
From something of a ruin when first she found it, to the snug, waterproof sanctuary it is today the cottage has always afforded place, space and solitude midst the hustle bustle of the commnuity around her. Situated on a quite tree surrounded lane it is none the less a stones throw from traffic both human and automotive but offers sense of oasis to all who sit in cottage or garden it seems.
It is no mansion or designer loft space but a small stone built home that offers her many gifts which she is happy to share with other spiritual journeywomen who wish for a weekend retreat away from their usual day to day lives. There are steep stairs to negotiate in the cottage so unfortunately it's not accessible to all women.
Simple accomodation and food are offered for a small charge. Access to workshop / studio to explore / create may be arranged. Walks by river and on hills are easily accessible. A small building in the garden is available at all times, for thought, prayer and contemplation.
